Broken Camera!

My Trusty Olympus Fe-230, Which I've had just under 1year (A Year in September) has broken. No one Knows How or Why. I got it out of my bag and pessed the one button! Nothing. The Light Flahsed but no screen came on and the Zoom Lense couldn't come out, it was making scartchy noises as it tried to come out. We've Charged it, Swapped Cards and Cleand it. Nothing!

Won't work! =[
And I don't have the money to buy a new one. So I'm cleaning out my room after the box & reciet, to take it back to argos!
But this is the second time my camera from agros has broke. >.< And this Olympus was brought with the £100 refund from the old camera I took back. And I doubt they will swap/refund this one.

So untill I can get some Money I'm stuck with mum's camera, which you need to press 10seconds before you want to take the photo, cause it takes 10 ruddy seconds to load the picture and futher more seconds to acutally take it. And by this time your subjcects moved/flown off/ got bored or is caught off gaurd. =|
It's really not fair.

Start with the linearts hey? Well I've been on to a disney pixar site and I've seen a few of their character desgins, which are like yu say mostly just lineart. :-) I'll try your suggestions and hopefully we will both become greater artists.

I like being modest, besides there are some real artist here on DA (like this one: [link]), so I wouldn't dare to call myself an artist too.

You could start with copying the line-art. Once you have made several pictures of a Disney character you'll know how he / she looks like and drawing from reference will be much easier. It’s all about practice and patience ;)
For now I don't mind using references, but I hope to be able to make original pictures someday :aww:
And if I can do it, then you can do it to :highfive:
